Security Guards Board is constituted on 16th July, 1981 for regulating services of the private security guards working in various Factories & Establishments through the private agencies.  Now Board has 2600 registered Principal Employers and 16000 registered Security Guards working with registered Principal Employers.  Security Guards Board started at Sardar Pratap Singh Industrial Estate No.3, Opp. Pannalal Silk Mills, Bhandup (W), Mumbai-400 078 and now over a period of days Board has well equiped Office at Copper Rollers Pvt. Ltd. Compound, 2nd floor, L.B.S. Marg, Bhandup (W), Mumbai-400 078 with aminities and facilities of computerisation in various sections.  Similary, Board has it’s own branch Offices at Vashi, Tarapur & Kalyan.
